Not quite sure why gas mileage for the 2 and 4 door is the same from what I am reading .Not sure how that can be , since there is little over 600 lbs difference in curb weight .Was going with a two door since I will be towing with my 2015 supercrew with 5.0 and tall gears .

I have a pop up cab over camper and towing a 2 door Bronco will be close to my 7,500 lbs towing capacity. May be able to do a four door , it has a 20 gallon tank verses a 16 , which is a big plus , still the gas mileage I would think has to be a little better with a two door , anyone with any more accurate figures ? 🤪

I can’t speak to the Bronco but have owned several late model Wranglers in two door and four door trims.

Both my Rubicons with mostly the same options other than one being a two door and the other being a four door got the same mileage around town and hwy.

Gas mileage was the same even when moving both to 35’s. Stock they got around 17-18mpg and when lifted both dropped to 15-16mpg.

I’m thinking the Bronco will be the same.

Thx. Not quite what is advertised , supposed to be 20 to 22 , 21 average . I get about 18 mpg combined with my 2015 f 150 supercrew 4x4 with 6.5 bed .was over 20 mpg till I added 3/16 thick heavy duty bumpers and a 12 k winch , that and went up two tire sizes .Truck has 258 k miles , got up to 23 mpg on freeway when new , with tallest gears offered .Hard to believe there is not much difference in mpg , given the size and weight difference.

Around town under 30 mph, yeah lugging an extra 600lbs would have a small impact on fuel economy, but at higher speeds, the engine is mainly working to push air with its horrible jeep like aerodynamics, that are the same 2dr or 4dr.

Like you, I'm pretty sure I saw stats posted earlier that showed the same mileage on the 2 and 4 door... 🤷🏻
So when my window sticker showed up, I was shocked to see 21MPG for my 2.3L, squatched Badlands... Auto 2 door
👍🏻

I only have 800 miles on a Base 7 speed ,average near 20mpg. You need about 5k to break in and you should get 22-23 mpg. I have 33" tires. The higher the lift, rear end gear and tires the less gas mpg you get. The Sasqatch with 477 rear end and 2" lift and 35" you will be driving from gas pump to gas pump 15-16mpg,ugh not good today with gas pushing up to $4-5 a gallon soon.

The only way anyone is getting 20+ mpg is if you’re driving Ms. Daisy around and everyone is going around y’all flipping the bird. Combined driving like a normal adult in a two door, I’m lucky to get 17 mpg.

Also, the tank is bigger than 16 gallons in the two door. I know for sure I’ve put at least 16.5 gallons in it before with fuel obviously still in there.

Picked up my Bronco Friday night and averaged 20.0 MPG on the dealership's delivery tank and first 210 miles. That was with shaking off my rust, 1 hour of teaching my 16yo daughter the basics of MT 101 and exploring the joys of Sport mode.

I'm between 20-21mpg in my 4 dr. 2.3 manual badlands... Weighs over 5100lbs. With a lot of Baja moding and fire road running... Mountain climbing. It'd be better if I was Ms. Daisey

I'm in a 2 door 2.3/7 speed Badlands on 33" and am getting almost 16.7 mpg. That's based on about half interstate and half small town traffic.
