Garage door opener remote controllers - where do you keep them?

I have mine hooked up to an Aux switch. So the conroller is stashed behind the passenger kick panel.

You are using the 12v supply from the aux to replace the battery in a garage door remote. Short flip of the aux switch triggers the door. I just soldered on some leads to my garage door remote, removed the battery and connected to the aux wire in the passenger kick plate, then grounded to the chassis.
