I just lifter the rubber weather stripping and slipped my remote over the windshield trim and viola it's in basically the same place as the homelink visor, out of site, and free. I did stick a small piece of foam on the back of it to prevent any rattles.

I have a Chamberland which is a little different than the WD you have, but this might work. What the weather does it get to it?

Plenty of places you could hide them away for purposes of rain and mud. With as little as the remotes cost and ease of programming, I would waste too much time worrying about this

It's kinda lame the garage door opener visor isn't just standard on all Broncos.

Part number is M2DZ-7804105-CA it's ~$315.

You're not actually affecting the weather stripping sealing to the roof, all I lifted was where the edge rest against the interior plastic trim, it's no different than where Ford has it lifted to go over the bracket for the roof right next to it. Been through many pouring rain storms and car washes, with no problems. Now if I was to get caught in the rain with no roof, my guess is it would hold up the same as the homelink visor, but I can always take my little remote down and toss it in some rice, unlike the visor.

I agree, but $315 is just ridiculous, I just can't bring myself to spend that much on a visor with a $20 universal remote built into it.

Your easiest option is to change the settings on your phone so it doesn't have to be unlocked to ask for Siri. Got to Settings, than select Siri & Search, the third option is to Allow Siri When Locked.

Also make sure you have Listen for "Hey Siri" enabled.

I just velcro the remote inside the center console...it is against the passenger side inner wall

As a driver, you can lift the lid just a bit and hit it with one hand.

I had Allow Siri when locked turned on, just not the listen of Hey Siri? I will give it a try with the listen turned on. I use the steering wheel button to get Siri to listen currently. I will let ya know if this works.

I have mine hooked up to an Aux switch. So the conroller is stashed behind the passenger kick panel.

Well I sort of have a strange question. I have the soft top, and plan on it being off most of the spring to fall. I will be buying a sunshade for some protection. I currently have my garage door openers on my visor, and really don't like them there. I had them in the center console and well that didn't work well either. Where do you all keep them safe and dry?

I have Apple Home and ask Siri to open the doors for me, the problem is my phone has to be unlocked for Siri to do it, and I keep my phone in my pocket.

I like the openers for the most part, just trying to figure out and easy spot to keep them.

I have My Q setup and working though Apple Home. The issue is my phone is in my pocket. If I am outside with out a remote I open my phone say Hey Siri open garage door and It will open. When driving Siri knows I am driving and my phone is on the locked screen, she then becomes a Nanny and says you must unlock your phone to use this but I do not advise doing this while driving.
