I have the soft top and the mesh top works great also keeps the soft top out of the second row the it is open.

I have a hard top that I need to do some more fitting with tomorrow. But you'll be able to leave at least the rear half of the mesh on. There is a lot of room between the roll bars and the roof. But you just have to use some of the t50s to secure the top. And the front row tops of a 2 door, those will kinda be not awesome to secure the middle locks. But otherwise, yea you should be able to leave it mostly on. I'll get pics tomorrow. It's been a long day
I worked it out to leave the whole mesh on under the hardtop - just have to undo a few bungees to reach under to the latches and take top panels off. Very convenient/cool to leave it on under MIC.

I've been waiting on gearshade to get the hardtop version ready for release. Emailed yesterday for an updated as I've requested a customer printed version. Very prompt in reply that the hardtop has been causing them some challenges and at present they don't have a solution to keep it on while the hardtop is in place. You will need to remove prior to reinstalling the hardtop.
I have mine installed permanently under the hard-top no problems - easy to pop a few bungees to reach latches.

I might have to get one of these once my Bronco arrives.

So I can leave it installed with the soft top covering it? Thatā€™s how I read it.

Iā€™m curious to see a gear shade in person. My only gripe with the Bimini is having to undo the snaps to raise or lower the soft top. However it doesnā€™t have that gap at the front

No it has just enough gap in the front.

I have to defer that to the soft top guys. I'm a 2 door so I have a MIC. But it fits under the MIC

This was my concern. So no problem with putting the hard top back on without taking the entire mesh off?

Nope - no problem - just pull a few bungees to reach and close/open hardtop latches (esp middle latch between row 1 & 2)
