Noticed it on the first highway drive. Pretty slight but obvious. Louder off throttle and coasting down. Doesn't seem to be a balance issue.
Sounds like passenger rear...
Maybe try the spare on it?

If you're careful you can jack up the rear (both wheels off the ground) and in 2 wheel drive, idle it in gear and watch the tire and wheel assembly rotate and see if there are any runout issues.
I found an untrue wheel that way once.It wasn't damaged, just machined poorly.

Btw, if you're not careful then all bets are off.

Thanks... Yeah, it's likely that the rim isn't dented. Had a similar sounding issue before on some low profile tires... Ended up being a visible dent on the inboard (unsupported) side of a rim. From the outside it looked fine.
Maybe its something I should bring up with the dealer 🤷
However, whenever its a noise issue, 99% of the time, "we weren't able to replicate the sound"

I would. If they are any good they will find the problem ,if one exists.

Sounds like a bent wheel have the dealer look at it hopefully your dealer isent shady and say you hit a pothole or something. I’m not sore if wheels and tires are under warranty I know some dealers try to sell you extra coverage for that either way take it to the dealer.

I can't imagine the impact to dent a 17" rim with a 35" tire on it. Lol
I'll mount the spare... See if it goes away. It could actually maybe an axle or diff issue 🤷

Eric, it could also be the tire. Hopefully whatever it is hopefully the dealer will take care of it for you.

Thanks... I wasn't actually looking for a solution but maybe seeing if anyone else had a similar issue.

Cupping on the tire will make that noise.

Swapping the spare to one rear, and then the other, could allow you to potentially narrow it down. Maybe have someone sit in the back to verify the location a little better while you drive. Or.......GASP........let someone else drive your baby and you sit in the back

I just thought a tire shop could probably see if that wheel is out of round but the dealer will prob do it for free like another poster said it could be the tire either way the dealer Will get you a new tire or wheel

I like the dealer idea too. And the cupping tires. That said, I think I had more of a whah-whah than a whub-whub when my saabaru prematurely started cupping. I was told it should have been aligned at the dealer after transport and failure to do that caused the cupping. No idea if there’s any truth to that claim.

Big aggressive off-road boogie tires make noise.
Fact of life.
Now if there's vibration, one, or all (in the case of Goodyears) may be out of round.

No vibration I can tell... Noise, like road hum, yeah, of course. But like I said, it's not a steady sound.

Cupping? There are only 350km on the tires. Lol. I noticed this on my very first drive a week ago...
