I tried to buy local, I truly spent hours on the phone calling a dozen dealers within a 45 mile radius, asking what the price would be. I got laughed at, yelled at, belittled because I didn’t know what I was talking about. I was told “good luck getting a Bronco”. I was told “no way was anyone going to sell at that price”. I was told I was hurting the local business by not buying from them, that I should wait to see what the price would be. I showed them the commitment letter and said it was bogus, not going to honor it.
I live 8 plus hours away fromJulian (Danville) West Virginia. I dealt with John, Tanis, Jody, and a guy who ended up with COVID (maybe Andrew?). I never got anything in writing until 2 weeks till pickup when I went to get financing.
I could have driven 8 plus hours away and been told at the door-no way we will honor the agreement. Instead, I was handed a key fob and told go take it for a ride while we pull your file.

Sad that we have to give credit to a place that does their job right, but I will say that Blackwell Ford in Plymouth has always been great to me and my family.
