I was always going to order the Base 4D with the auto because the auto was not standard on BB. Started messing around with BB and chose auto and mid package and noticed you were actually only paying for mid package, and not the auto anymore. Any chance this will actually be true?

I noticed that too, not adding the Auto money even when building 2-D base with 2.7L and Auto.
only paying the 2.7L cost.
I hope it's staying like this lol.

Guys did we get any clarification here? I am confused! I am going with the Big Bend with Mid since it adds Auto too.

Just looked at this as well. I have always wanted the 2.7 upgrade but this is very tempting. I have priced out a BB 4 door mid with upgraded gearing and some other options at 42K!

Auto is included on all Mid Package upgrades, manual transmission is not selectable on any upgraded interiors other than on Badlands.

It appears so. There are only 2 transmissions - 7sp manual and 10sp auto. The standard engine is 2.3L. When selecting the Mid Package, it includes Remote Start. Remote start is only available on automatic. So yes, by selecting Mid package, your engine/tranny is 2.3L/10sp auto. There is still an $1895 upcharge for the 2.7L.

It is confirmed.
You're saying that just buying a 10A, and skipping MID will cost $1595.
But choosing MID is $100 rebaterebate??

$1595 10A only vs $1495 for 10A + MID.

Don't plan your finances around that.

If you step up to the OBX, the B&P will also try to give you $750 4.27 gears & Locker for free, if you try to buy both of them.

There are bunch of other mistakes.
We have an entire thread about all of the problems with B&P.

Not a mistake. Check out the dealers quick reference B&P sheet that came out the other day. Says it plain as day. Auto included in Mid Package.

They had to give something after alienating all the 7mt people with not giving the mid package. They’re tryinn really hard to steer people away from it (most likely due to supply issues), so after taking the mid away and trying to steer people to the 10A, this was the solution. Not like they don’t have a million of those 10A’s lying around already.

No.

The 2.7L/10A option correctly adds both the 2.7L ($300) and the 10A($1595) =$1895 total.

For your argument to be logical, Ford would be rebating people - $1595 off MSRP to buy 10A + MID
And punishing them +$3490 to go with 2.7L+10A + MID!

As I pointed out earlier, there is an entire thread about all of the mistakes in B&P .

I’ve seen the thread and the math. This had zero to do with the 2.7, it was about the 10A being included in the mid package.

And for arguments sake, you’re correct on punishing $3400 for all 3. I didn’t say it was good logic.
