Will Off Rodeo allow me to use my GoPro? Should I bring my own mounting bracket? Going in less than 2 weeks and ready!

They didnā€™t seem to care. I just handheld mine.

They were pretty low key, so I don't think they will care. Would bring your own mount or if you have a passenger, have them outside of the Bronco when you go over steep/technical sections. Since most of the day you are driving 5mph or less (at least in Vegas), don't expect a lot of dazzling footage like you would see at a track day or other driving school.

If you want pictures, buy the ticket package - several people have posted them (they have the logo in the bottom left). But even they don't illustrate how capable a stock Bronco is going over rocky terrain.

Wife took one when she went. She used the gumby mount on the rearview mirror. You could use the dash spot as well.

They allowed it. A guy suction cupped a GoPro (his mount) to the top of his Raptor and then lost it on the jump at my Off Roadeo.

When we did Moab, they didnā€™t have a photographer on hand. šŸ˜• Luckily, my son got lots of pics and video on his phone, and there are several opportunities for your passenger to get out and film you. You can definitely bring a GoPro and a way to mount itā€¦

We just attended the Bronco Raptor Off Roadeo last weekend. We asked about using our GoPro when we checked in and they so no problems and the vehicles would have the auxiliary mount on the dash for our use. Turns out that our vehicle did not have it already in place but I had one in my GoPro case so it was an easy fix. I did note that some of the vehicles had an aftermarket dash mount with balls for three accessories but not all of them did. Some folks purchased the video option which certain vehicles were equipped with suction cup mounted outward and inward dash cams that fed to a SD card. Did not ask the price for this. I used the Quik app to edit my footage together into a highlight reel and pretty happy with how it came out. Iā€™ll post once I figure out how to save to YouTube.

Went solo to New Hampshire off rodeo. Drove solo with instructor all day. Mounted my go pro on dash, sun visor and a few other locations. None cared.

here are some unedited videos I did. Pretty much the whole second half (after lunch). Used a GoPro 360 so you can change your view

Yeah, we don't care about cameras at all.

As long as you don't need to put a hole in the vehicle to mount it, it's all good.

I've seen people, as Mike mentions, clamp them to things, suction cup them to things, use the 1/4 20 mount in the console, bolt them to trail sights, suction cup them to the hood.

Some sites (I don't know if this is all of them), but specifically New Hampshire doesn't allow drones. I don't know the rules at the others.

Other than drones, cameras are perfectly acceptable.
