What a ridiculous statement. The point is to have fun. You must be the type of person who says "what's the point in riding a motorcycle"
What exactly can a 392 do that is more fun than a standard jeep? “Hey guys lets cram a high output engine in a vehicle that barely handles and then sell it to the general public where 99% of the buyers are barely skilled enough to pilot a riding lawnmower”

Why would anyone want a 392?

Because you’re not doing this in a civic.
Big difference on putting that motor in a car vs a top heavy vehicle with the handling characteristics of a shopping cart

Should have made it a Gladiator, but I approve.
Jeep said they're prioritizing Wranglers over Gladiators so you probably would have waited longer, and your choice in a Wrangler thus makes more sense. Check out the JLWranglerForums.com for that community

I thought people were on the Bronco forum because the want and love a Bronco....?
Hilarious the people who just can't wait to start an overlanding "look at me" channel on YT or something, so bail on a Bronc and get an overpriced, fad mall crawling offroader with dump truck handling and suspension 🤷
I am on this forum because I did preorder a Bronco but that doesn't mean that I can't make other financial decisions or move on if Ford doesn't deliver.

I myself bought a '20 Rubicon recently. Not sure what I'm going to do yet when my Bronco arrives. I have no interest in starting "an overlanding channel on YT". Nor does the JL Wrangler that I have drive anything like a dump truck. Have you ever even driven a JL Wrangler? Probably not as most people who think every Jeep on the road drives like dog $hit....my 2 door TJ Wrangler definitely did. My 4 door JK Wrangler drove better but still felt like a Jeep. My JL 2 door Rubicon drives like a small SUV and doesn't feel anything like past Jeeps that did drive like a dump truck. Do I think the Bronco will drive better on road? Absolutely! Have I driven one or even seen one in person yet? Sure haven't!
It is possible to understand someone's reasoning for buying a Jeep such as mine in it having removable top/doors as an every day all season driver with off road capability.

Some people on this forum (and Jeep forums...or any forums for that matter) are very childish and immature. You don't need to love everything about Ford or specifically the Bronco. You can appreciate the vehicle while still having an interest in buying one eventually and also enjoy other vehicles or competitors like Jeep. The 392 Wrangler is bad@ss by the way and i'd buy one if it wasn't starting at 70K. Does it NEED that much power? Absolutely not as I feel like the current motors give more than enough power in them but i'm sure it's fun to rip it and hear that motor/exhaust roar so I understand the allure for them without saying "you're dumb" for wanting or buying one.

Best wishes and understandable. I bought a POS 4banger wrangler to get me by while I wait for my Bronco. Was planning on leaving it on the side of the road once my Bronco comes in but it’s been too much fun to drive and may keep it forever!
One quick question, shouldn’t you change your image to the Jeep now?

Just for a point of clarification for those in different generations, is By Felicia no longer intended to be a joke that we are all in on? When I hear it I do not feel it is malicious in any way, simply friendly jabs with no ill will intended. I know it is way off topic, just trying to measure the room.
I know my 10 year old yells "Bye Felicia" at the TV every time he off's somebody in Fortnite.

Back on topic. As a Jeep owner I can't wait to get my Bronco (which should be about this time tomorrow). YMMV

Great another "Ford lost my business. I bought a Jeep, but keeping my reservation and picking up the bronco later this year" thread

Why in the world would anyone spend 75k on a wrangler. The only thing a 392 does is get you to the scene of the accident quicker. Absolutely no point to this vehicle.
I guess it depends... That's your opinion, but having been in a 392, it's a different animal and very desirable. I consult for a medium volume Jeep build shop and we have done 4 of them with another on order still. They sell for $15k over MSRP ($90k) and typically in 1-2 days from when the build is complete. Fortunately the shop owner loves his Raptors, so we will be doing some Bronco's when they start shipping too.

I have a gladiator now and was all dead set on trading it in for the Bronco, but as time goes on and I see more issues with the top and delays, the choose is getting harder. The Gladiator has been flawless foe the past year.

still leaning towards the Bronco though. I’m going to miss the Gladiator.
