Grittiness when shifting gears Automatic OB 2025

I just noticed a few days ago when shifting from drive or reverse back to park there is a gritty feeling in the gear shift of my 3month old 2025 OB. Is this normal or something I should look into?

IDK the answer to your question, but I'll add on my own related question. Does the Bronco have direct mechanical shift or shift by wire? I see a cable to the shift lever on the transmission, but when using M mode I can hear what sounds like an electric motor operating.
