Guys, why the heck does everyone debadge their trim emblems?

I had Bronco Script Badging ordered and waiting months before I took delivery and removing the stickers to replace with the script badges was the first thing I did once I got it home. I put one sticker on the inside of the tailgate and my oldest son, who helped with the swap took the other for his toolbox. I had a 75 and loved the script badging and wanted to have that retro look on my 22. I also swapped the silver buckin' horse for a black one to match the badges. I have a carbonized grey 2 door and think the black compliments the color better. I'm looking for a black ford oval for the tailgate which led me to this thread... I think it's a pretty common swap and see it alot on the 6th Gens. That being said, you saw it alot on the 1st Gens...

It looks like a cheap vinyl sticker, which it is. First thing I did was remove it!

I peeled mine because it was cheap looking and the blue in the black diamond badge clashed with my eruption green. The bronco script is too played out so I went custom and like it. Will like even better when it warms up and I replace the prototypes with the permanent 3m black reflective ones.

I've debadged but only shave my chest hair at my pecs and nips because I'm a gym guy. Ive been debating doing my arms but don't want to have to deal with the rough feel and shaving them all the time.

Just get a Raptor. Ford doesn't charge you for the sticker

I didnt remove mine ..I just moved it to the grille. And after a year or so it has really held up great.

I found a use for a Chrome Bucking horse emblem, then added a Bronco Script also.

I actually like the way it looks on mine, the BB logo and Cactus Gray go together nicely. But I can see how some of the other badges might not look that good with certain colors. Not a fan of the retro script badges - seems like it's just the trendy thing to do with the Bronco (and I like to avoid non-functional upgrades like that).

Mine will be debadged. I just shave my balls. Just the way your mom likes it.

I remove all patches, emblems, stickers from my vehicles because they are / look cheap. I replaced mine with a Ford Performance chrome Bronco script and it looks a lot more finished on the Bronco.
