We had a Bronco come into the radio shop today for an install. The plan was to use this NMO bracket mount from Trailrax since I had one for my personal rig which was not installed yet.

Although advertised it's compatible with an MMO mount, its not. The antenna being installed was a Larsen NMO50B low band (6 meter) unit
The first problem is the mounting hole is too small for the threaded mount. Yes it can be drilled out, but shouldn't have to be. See photo.
The second problem is the bracket is too narrow to fully support an antenna. See photo.
Anyone know of a an old fashioned hood lip mount that would fit?
