Has anyone done business with the instagram guy named “ Bronco_jeep_oemshop”

This person often posts some aftermarket secondhand great deals. I’m hesitant about giving someone several hundred dollars without any security I will ever see what I’m paying for.

Has anyone on here done business with this person and is it legit?

i wouldn't trust that. prices a tad to good to be true, using a non-selling platform, no username added to pictures. lots of these popping up on social media just looking for one fake sale and will start it over again.

at a minimum ask for another angle of the pic and have him add a written piece of paper with his name on it, ask for location and if he will meet in person, or if he ships if he will take paypal goods. also feel free to reverse image search, if a scam probably took the pics from somewhere else.

Rule of thumb, if they don’t accept PayPal/Venmo for goods and services and demand Zelle or CashApp - it’s a scam.

FYI anything with "OEM_PARTS" or something is usually a scam site.

Absolutely a scam. I spoke with him about a too-good-to-be-true modular bumper. He wouldn't consider any form of transaction that offered protection (PayPal, eBay), and quickly was skittish when I tested him with a contract to sign (hilarious...).

He blocked me immediately, then changed the account name for a short period of time. As of right now (19 July 23) the name is back to "bronco_jeep_oemshop"

the bronco.parts_ account is also a scam. Thankfully I was able to fight and win through my credit card.
