Has anyone experienced a rough ride with Goodyear 315/70 R17 tires?

My brand new Wildtrak rides rough - I think it’s the front driver side Goodyear tire. anyone else experience the same?

Check the tire pressure. If the dealership didn't air them down properly they could be high from the factory.

Thank you- 1st thing I did. pressure was all over the place. 50/45/40/47. I brought it all down to Spec. Some improvement but I still fee some vibration/rough ride from Driver Front. Could it be the balancing is off?

Check tire pressure, make sure lug nuts secure, then have tire balanced again if first 2 don't fix. You could also try swapping the suspect tire with the spare to see if it is a tire defect. After that you are looking at alignment check or suspension parts inspection.

Thank You - I’ll check the bolts and I am taking it to the dealer Monday. Hopefully it’s just an unbalanced tire.

Yeah, the OEM tires are garbage. I’ve had mine rebalanced 3x in 2,000 miles. I sold my OEM sas wheels already so I can’t warranty them.

Could very well be balance. Also read of a person having a bulge on their new factory tire. that was replaced under warranty.

Our factory tire on the Sasquatch was very smooth.

I have heard they stink- Lots of owners are selling them. What did you put on yours ?

Our Goodyears were very smooth on highway but they throw gravel a lot. Plus they are a soft tire, but that contributes to the smooth ride.

Because we live on gravel and go to rocky places much of the time, we went with Mickey Thompson Baja Boss AT. They are heavy E rated tires that have a strong tuff sidewall. They are not bad at all on highway and seem to excel on rock and rough. If I lived in town and drove mostly there I would probably look at a lighter weight tire with a little softer sidewall.

I run my Goodyear at 37psi cold. That seems to be a sweet spot.
