Yes, owned a soft top TJ before and a couple of CJ's.
Your only option is to replace the stickers with the same (or larger) ones when they age, over top of the faded ones.
The ones on my TJ were all old and faded, fit with the rustic and rugged vibe.
It's a commitment.
Once they are on, they are on.

No.
It may work on the adhesive but you will always be able to tell where the decal was due to weathering and the haze/scratches that just inevitably happen no matter how easy you are on the plastic care.
Even just a hint makes a difference in the sheen/clarity of the window.

All that to say you can remove them, you can get the adhesive off (most of the time) on newer plastics, but it will never be factory fresh and impossible to discern where that sticker was.

Some may argue the point and tell me I'm wrong and that's ok too. I'd love to see someone remove a 2 yr old decal from a plastic Bronco or Jeep window and be able to buff it out back to factory clarity again and provide pics and advice.

The main mount is what came with the fire extinguisher to mount it to the roll bar I used a piece of flat bar I drilled and bent to fit on the side so it all clears my Bestop side panels.
I also reuse a auto dog cage into side panels to mount my gear.
