Admittedly, I’m a noob.

‘23 Eruption Green OBX with stock everything… for now. Planning to change that in the next month.

I’m adding a 2” lift from Rough Country, some striping, PPF and ceramic coating.

The question is, do I want new wheels AND tires. This is going to be a pavement princess, but I still want it to look pretty bad a$$.

I like the look of the aggressive tires, but I’m not sure if what I like about them is the tread, or that they stick out more.

Can simply getting a wheel with the right offset give me that more aggressive stance and poke, as I think y’all call it?

Thanks for any feedback you guys can share. I have searched for different topics, but nothing seemed to really get me the results I was looking for. It’s likely that I don’t know what to search for.

First, buy good quality mud flaps.

Second, research lift kits. You may not enjoy RC as much as you think.

Yes, wheels with different offset can achieve your desired look. I think you'll find a lot of information by searching for aftermarket wheels.

Thank you! I have researched and my results suggest it’s a good, but not great lift kit. Seeing that this thing is never gonna see a dirt road, can you elaborate as to why you think I may not enjoy it, and can you suggest another brand to compare it to?

I’ve had the RC spacer lift for almost two years. It’s fine and will work for what you’re looking for. I’ve had zero issues wheeling moderate mountain trails. The ride is exactly the same on the highway. It’ll give you enough clearance to run larger tires and a more aggressive stance. It’s absolute over kill for you to rip out suspension components and spend thousands on pro shit.

Sounds like you’re non SAS so I wouldn’t go with any offset more than +12. A 0 offset will have considerable poke. +30 offset is likely flush to slight sidewall poke. Stock OBX are offset of +55.

I run +12 on black rhinos and 295x70 Mickey Baja Boss. Imo it gives me a perfect stance and the aggressive look I want while keeping function(no rub).

Good luck.

Amazing. Exactly what I was looking for. Thank you. Which black rhinos did you grab? So many choices. It’s a little overwhelming.

*edit… I am indeed non-sas.

If you're keeping it on the street and like the bigger tires, I'd go with one size up. You'll be able to clear 35s with the 2" lift as long as you get the right offset. And you can go with another tire like the Nitto Ridge Grappler or Toyo RT or RT Trail if you want something that looks a little more aggressive, while still maintaining great on-road manners.

Happy to help go over options and put a package together for you. Feel free to reach out if we can help.

Yes, there are a ton of wheel/tire combos. I’d start here on forum and just internet in general. Here’s 175 pages you can start with🤣

I ended up with the formerly known as Black Rhino Bronze Apache. BR changed the name from Apache to Arches after I bought mine. Probably because things are getting weird and there getting weird fast. 😆
