Hit Windrock Trails for 50 miles over 10 hours

A friend of mine (Tallboy) and myself were able to run Trails 26,27,43,39, and 51 on the first of June. We clocked almost 50 miles. We attributed that to 10 hours on the trail and a group of two.

How secure were the top panels with just the fronts on? That seems like the perfect configuration to keep the sun off but still be open.

Looks like an awesome time! I think @Tricky Dick (gone but not forgotten) was supposed to be heading out pretty soon. It’s on my list to go, just a days drive out there, make for fun weekend.

The top is very secure just front panels, when wheeling or doing 80mph.

Awfully tight on those shelf walls. Looked like your bud in the Toyota was touching/scraping. You come out unscathed?

All I can tell you is, although the flares might scratch a bit,, they hold up well when lightly scrubbing. There was a point in the day I backed up and took the drivers side off.

I noticed this. Looking through the photos in succession it went from flares on to flares off. I was afraid they were a casualty in that off camber ditch, but then they appear back on.

What tires are those? The lugs! Limb risers were a good mod. @vrtical and I could have used those last weekend in North Georgia!

Like keeping those front panels on to save you from the heat. I’d send you up a Bimini mesh if they weren’t so goddamn expensive!

Can’t wait to visit some of the more tame trails up in Wind Rock soon.
