Here is a picture from a webpage. Does anyone know what these holes are for? 2 holes per side in the top of the crossbar about even with the front seats.

I I am thinking of using them for the front mounts for a kayak rack - custom make some adapter and install 1/4 x 20 jack nuts for the anchors.

First off, the holes are M8. I use these for the door harness because I misplaced the ones that came in the package.

I have been thinking of curing the bad interior lighting issue with these holes by figuing out a bracket that holds a rock light to these holds and using a switch on the switch accessory pack. I’ll bet someone with a 3D printer could bang this out.

Zero threaded holes on either side of my 2021 4dr. Blend date was 8/12. Wish I had them because I'd love to put the Bronco Raptor brace on.

Has anyone ever made a template and tried to drill and add the “missing” nutserts from the early builds? I have a FE and doesn’t have them unfortunately.

Has anyone ever made a template and tried to drill and add the “missing” nutserts from the early builds? I have a FE and doesn’t have them unfortunately.

I haven't seen a template but some of my customers have drilled their own holes for nutserts. Main advice seems to be to use a new or sharp drill bit as the roll bar is made of a very strong boron steel.
