The motor trend first look said that the tie downs can handle 150 pounds each.Better be the good stuff then.
Called limb risers. It pushes branches out of the way when off-roadingI kind of like them too, but I'm going to ask a stupid question. I've seen photos of a bronco with cables going from the hood loops to, what looked like an aftermarket roof rack. But that cable didn't look like it was securing anything.
What the heck is the purpose of that? Just for looks?
Crap, don't let Ford see that! They'll find a way to axe it (no pun intended) ?i don't know if anyone else has already noticed this, but the hood grabhandles definitely have the potential to have a secondary function as finger scissors.
How is that any different than any hood/fender area? In that your fingers could get cut off from closing a hood too.i don't know if anyone else has already noticed this, but the hood grabhandles definitely have the potential to have a secondary function as finger scissors.

There's still an inch or two recess from the fender into the engine bay.
it's not me that I'm worried aboutThere's still an inch or two recess from the fender into the engine bay.
Could just not put your fingers there when closing too....
I like them very useful tooI'm just going to say it: the plastic loops (accessory access points) on the front of the hood look stupid. Keep those off the hood and see how well it captures the original hood look and design. Take them off. They look stupid!
Am I wrong? (First time for everything.) Thoughts?
