Another great trick is to get a head-on shot of a water crossing. It makes the water look a lot deeper than it is.

I can't believe you would bust my insta out like that! I am always curious how many folks actually show all these woods and offroad pics, that never really go offroad.

I'm half guilty of this.

I wheel all the time but usually just me and the dog. Im not vain enough to be pulling my camera out for pictures all the time so I will sometimes stage photos so I have something to show my family and friends when they ask me where i have been and what I'm doing all the time.

This pic is literally taken on the side of a paved road at the trail head. I'm standing on pavement taking this photo. I was out for 3 days and this staged fake pick is the only picture I have from that area.
