It's pretty simple but I made a little write up anyways. Only thing is you'll get a seat belt fault code at startup. No annoying chime or anything. If anyone finds a bypass to that let me know!

Ignore my chicken scratches. I will try a more formal write up later tonight

I removed mine yesterday. Very easy to do. Are you going to remove the rear seat belts too?

This was a great help! Did anyone find a workaround to plug something into the seat belt wires to dead end it and shut off the ABS warning light?

I know this is an old thread, but I have been researching this because I just learned my 2 door has a build date. anyway I have been looking at the goose gear seat delete plate system and in there instructions they show removing the seatbelt recepticle from the seat and plugging it back in to stop the error code. https://www.dropbox.com/s/vk3r7wo0g...co_2021-Present_2-Door_SeatDelete_V1.pdf?dl=0

Any issues with unplugging that seat??? Did you do anything here? Thanks for this info. I may remove the passenger side rear seat so as to fit a dog crate in there. Thanks!

Does anyone know what the internals of the buckle look like? is the computer looking for continuity, if so can you just install a jumper wire in the plug?

Did you ever figure that out?

Unfortunately, no.

When I removed the back seats, I just removed the buckle. It wasn't as painful as I thought it would be, and, there is a dedicated spot for it under the carpet.

You need to remove the buckle from the seat and plug it in. There is a perfect pocket made to hide it.
If you remove the belts as I did, you need to install a 2.4ohm resistor into the plug.

Yeah, I just used a cheap 1/2 inch rubber mat I had handy. Cleans up easy. Has had oil, gas, dog pee, and who knows what else on it. One of these days I'll find a nice diamond plate rubber mat to put back there.
