I took Homelink visor I installed out of my OBX before I sold it, my BL has the Lux package so it already had one. It's available if anyone is interested, PM me.

Good to know. If I can figure out if my badlands is prewired for it, I'll be interested.

Are all of the visors the same color / will it match the badlands visor? If so, how much are you asking for it?

If you have a lighted mirror then you are prewired.

They only list one part number so I guess all the visors across all trim levels are black. I paid $344 plus shipping when I bought it.

There is only one part number so I guess all trim levels must use black. I'm looking for $300 shipped. I paid $344 plus shipping.

Thanks for letting me know it's the same part. I think I'm going to stick with the clip on remote or use MyQ for now.

For anyone who has done this, do you have your original sun visor with lighted mirror and would you be willing to sell it?

Hey folks just reading this. Great info. Question for the group is will that part number work with late 2022 Bronco builds? When I type in compatibility into oemford.parts site it says compatible for 2021 not 2022. Any insight here? Is it just the site not having updated compatibility. I can't believe Ford would redesign or change part same series build. Thanks.

For this to be a plug and play installation, your Bronco needs to be equipped with the lighted mirror.

Visor Assembly W/Garage Opener - part number : M2DZ-7804105-CA

Here are the install instructions from the FSM (thanks @D2dhanover)

I used a trim tool to pop the cover off. The bolt is 7mm

For informational purposes, here is how the visor is wired (thanks @D2dhanover)

Edit to add remote programming instructions:

From HomeLinks website:
Programming Instructions

For first time training, press and hold the two outer HomeLink® buttons, releasing only when the HomeLink indicator light begins to flash after 20 seconds. (Do not perform this step when training the additional HomeLink buttons.)
  1. Position the hand-held transmitter 1-3 inches away from the HomeLink surface (usually located on your visor, overhead console, or mirror), keeping the HomeLink indicator light in view.
  2. Using both hands, simultaneously press and hold both the desired HomeLink button and hand held transmitter button. DO NOT release until the HomeLink indicator light flashes slowly and then rapidly. When the indicator light flashes rapidly, both buttons may be released. (The rapid flashing indicates successful training.)
  3. Press and hold the trained HomeLink button and observe the indicator light.
    • If the indicator light is solid/continuous, training is complete and your device should activate when the HomeLink button is pressed and released.
    • If the indicator light blinks rapidly for 2 seconds and then turns a solid/continuous light, proceed with the following training instructions for a rolling code device. A second person may make the following steps quicker and easier. Please use a ladder or other device. Do not stand on your vehicle to perform the next steps.
  4. At the receiver (motor head unit), locate the “learn” or “smart” button (usually near where the hanging antenna wire is attached to the unit). If there is difficulty locating the training button, reference the device owner’s manual.
  5. Press and release the “learn” or “smart” button (the name and color of the button may vary by manufacturer). NOTE: Once the button is pressed, there are 30 seconds in which to initiate the next step.
  6. Return to the vehicle and firmly press and hold the trained HomeLink button for two seconds and release. Repeat the “press/hold/release” sequence up to 3 times to complete the training process.
Retain the original hand-held transmitter of the RF device you are programming for use in other vehicles, as well as for future HomeLink programming. It is also suggested that upon the sale of the vehicle, the programmed HomeLink buttons be erased for security purposes. To erase the programmed buttons, perform the procedure shown in step number 1.

This took maybe 15 mins to install and program.
Thank you very much. Easy.....done.
My two comments would be, the harness release detent took me a moment to realize. Boy they're getting cheap.
Second, the screw never became tight/solid for me. With that spring clip nut, it seems the screw threads begin to skip over the two opposing clip tabs.
