Is there a good solution for steaming movies while driving? I searched and couldn’t find anything recent. Thanks.

If you mean on the Bronco screen, why do you want to do this?

And please don't drive near my family.

I see no issue with this, if it's used while parked. Tesla's have this ability.

However, I agree that it should never be used while driving.

Edit: For the effort it would take to install a device to make this happen, which may/may not void your warranty, I'd rather just bring my iPad with me to do the same thing.

wow you guys are no fun! I drove an explorer sport with a screen in the dash for almost 13 years and about 6 of those years with a dvd player. It made road trips so much better and no I wasn't watching the screen while driving. I did memorize a few movies line for line though.

I did look into this for the Bronco but don't want a "magic box" and do not want to change the screen or mess with the audio. So no more movies in the car to make 5 hour drives a 3 movie trip.

Get off my wavelength! That was pretty much my conclusion when I looked into this.

So.... the question is still out there. Why do you want to do this?

Parked - fine. Driving - don't. Unless you're one of the super-human drivers who thinks they can multitask driving and watching a movie without any risk to others. Wanna only put yourself at risk? Go for it, but if you are on a public road you're risking more than just yourself.

You can easily get the audio to stream via a phone or tablet. If that's what you mean then it doesn't take any special equipment. Just connect your preferred device.

Apparently YouTube and other streaming apps came to Lightning recently.

You guys have no imagination. So you go on trail, your tie rod snaps and you have to overnight cause its too far to walk out. So you plug in your magic box and watch youtube videos how to fix it. This way, once you get the part (approx. 4 months) its installed in a jiffy.

Pro Tip. Set your iPad, tablet, phone, etc on your dash while streaming & driving so it looks like your eyes are on the road!

Magicbox definitely works; I use it. We stream Seinfeld and crap for the kids.
Yes, while driving.
Thanks!
