I live a few hours away and was wondering what are the odds of seeing one, if I drove to the plant and surrounding area?

I'm thinking it's one of those, "You never know until you try" situations.

Odds are not good. But that doesn't stop me from hunting for Broncos too.

Got lucky the other day when @SamG posted about a Wildtrack at the Ford R&D Center. It was still there a few hours later when I popped by.

Keep an eye on this board for MI Bronco sightings and be ready to drop everything and go!

I've seen 6 so far, but one I think was the same one twice, and another was two driving together. So 4 sightings in 5 months. Not great actually. If your just driving around I think you have a better chance in the Plymouth, Novi, Brighton areas, as that's where most of the engineers live, and where most of the sightings have been around here other than at actual Ford facilities.

I was thinking I'd use a .340 Weatherby minimum for a frontal shot. But now realize that's not what you meant.

Head over to Dearborn, Rotunda and Oakwood close to the test track, also head South on Oakwood going towards 94 near NMPDC

I live in a town with lots of Ford employee population and I have only seen one in the wild so far. Of course Ford employees aren’t working in their offices and I don’t commute anymore, so the chances are lower now than in the past. East/West freeways 96/94, Hines Drive, Lodge Freeway are all good. Anything that connects Dearborn to the airport, suppliers or the suburbs where employees live are guesses.
