Well after 3 months since I purchased, and being on back order, I finally received the R/C E-Boards. I installed them yesterday.

Install was pretty straight forward minus the instructions were no help. I was hoping for more drop down for the wife to get in, but it is the same height as my previous steps of 18.5" from step to pavement. But being that its a platform style boards, it give much reassurance getting in and out without missing the step up. The LED lights work great at night lighting them up. Overall very happy with them. Very sturdy and well made. Install was easier than my previous RAM Amp e-boards. They do give me more ground clearance throughout the midsection.

Let us know how they hold up. Fit, Finish, electronics. I am looking for a power running board for my mordor WT. I have gone back and forth between the AMP research, and the Rock slide engineering. I know they are in 2 completely different categories. The factory running boards for the WT are kind of useless. The lack of an A-pillar grab bar makes getting in and out of the truck a chore and it just feels awkward using the AC vent grab handle. All sacrifices I am willing to make to drive the Bronco.

Would you please help me decide if these will help my wife get in my non-sas OBX by measuring the inches from the door sill down to the step? It looks like it would be lower than my stock running boards on my OBX but a measurement sure would help me.

Hey bud, when the boards are open the measurement is 9" of clearance, from top of door jam to board. I bought this type of board because my wife almost fell on her face after missing the previous nerd bar installed. Now when these boards are activated the whole boards width is exposed for full footing. 100% completely satisfied with these boards.

Thank you! Looks like these will definitely be just the thing for my 5’ 2” wife. Thanks again for your help.
