I purchased and mounted running boards. I don’t like the way it looks with the holes showing. Anyone else do this? Is there grommets or something to make this look better?

Someone makes pinch weld covers. My rock rails cover those and I opted for ArcheType Racing's Stirrups instead of running boards. I agree, I don't like the look, but there is a solution. I'll try to find it but someone will more than likely beat me to it. :)

Not cheap but looks great. Applies with 3m tape and includes pinch weld cover. All plastic, looks factory, and protects paint. If you go this route, it is easy to install but following instructions exactly. I did not, had to remove 3m tape on several pieces (not easy) and buy/reinstall new 3m tape. Had I not rushed and taken shortcuts, would have been cake. Make sure to use 3m adhesive promoter and buy extra on amazon. It comes with some but the stuff is magic for doing a great job applying all things with adhesive.

I am confused. Does this cover the exposed area or is this a different option for side rails?

I originally was going to cover the pinch seems but got scared of moisture/salt causing issues. I know a bed liner type of solution can also be used. Honestly after having my Bronco for a month I kind of forgot about them so most likely won't do anything

I dropped my driver door first time reinstalling it and curled the rear corner up. Looked like shit where I straightened it. I found these on Fords site and they had a 20% sale for memorial day so I used to pass points and got them for like 145ish out of pocket. Had the upper part painted to match and left the pinch covers black. They turned out awesome and covered my damages perfectly. Ill post a pic of them later.

I just bought some Xpel door sill guard and cut it to size. Easily removable and replaceable. Been on for 3 months and still looks great.

Get some painters tape to cover the bottom of the Bronco doors, and paint them with Rust Oleum bed liner (2 or 3 coats will do). It's cheaper than the rest of the options, will look factory and you won't have to worry about water collecting in the area. Ensure that the area to be painted is clean and free of debris. I did mine when I installed the Rhino DSS running board on my BADLANDS. No issues at all. Steady hand will do!

I had ordered some running boards from Amazon... but they did show the pinch welds. I sent them back as I didn't like the look on my 2Dr.

I then ordered "Clamber C3 Heavy Armor" tube running boards. They covered the pinch-welds because they use both the frame holes and pinch weld holes.

Note: Not really made for rock sliding, but since they use the pinch-welds and frame holes they do a nice job as a step, and look pretty good on a 2Dr. Your 4Dr experience may vary.

Might be hard to see in the pic but there are pieces that completely cover the pinch weld.

Covers the pinch welds completely. For both sides, there are 8 parts in total. I like that these are not metal and except for several plastic push pins are secured with the 3m adhesive. Note, the side rails are the OEM equipment for the Badlands.
