Introducing Yellowstone - New Color for 2022 Bronco

This is the single best picture I've seen for showing that Cyber Orange is orange and also yellow. Its a tri-coat paint. In the shade its primarily orange (alight orange, but still orange) and in the light all that yellow shines through. I don't know how someone could look at the shaded parts of the image on the left and claim it's school bus yellow.

My guess is that the Cyber Orange was a tri-coat (hence the extra charge) and had a fairly low take rate. So they're swapping it out and replacing with another tri-coat color they feel will perform better (everglades green perhaps?)

God I hope not. I need my CO 2DR!

I have seen a few orders for the 2DR, 7MT Badlands in the CO. I'm hoping its a good thing and FORD decides to just build a batch of them and ship them out early! LOL. I think the CO is sort of a retro look, especially when matched to the 2DR

As I said in my other 2022 paint colors thread here, I ordered a can of the Yellowstone color to compare with CO ====>> Introducing Yellowstone:

It appears to be a dirty yellow, very much like 1971 Prairie Yellow:

Which leads me to believe the accessories catalog leaked two Heritage Edition colors: Yellowstone and Peak Blue Metallic.

If Cyber Orange actually looked as orange in person as your color swath samples, or as in all the Bronco Photoshoots and promo videos, I would have stayed with it. It was a nice orange indoors and at night. But during the day, in the SC sun, it was a rather unspectacular yellow (on a dealership Ranger). I was willing to override both wife & daughter, until I saw Cyber Orange in person, and was disappointed. So i reluctantly picked Area 51! Now that I have a production date, its too late to change!
