Is it possible to disconnect bottom seat heater?

Yes I searched with no luck...

Is it possible to disconnect the bottom seat heater and only have the back heater operate?

I really only use the seat heater as a heating pad for my lower back but don't need the butt heat.

You should be able to. Here is the connector location. Some Ford vehicles it’ll shut down both heaters if there is a fault with one. You’ll just have to try and see.

Thanks for the info...just tried and it seems that it disables it completely when unplugged.

Thanks for the info...just tried and it seems that it disables it completely when unplugged.
Most factory seat heating systems have internal thermostats in the heating pads themselves. They prevent the system from heating past certain temperatures to avoid causing burns or a fire. If you unplug the heating element, the controller loses the reading from the thermostat and disables the system for safety.
