Glad I'm going with Bell Road Ford, my original reservation holding dealership, here in Phoenix, which is giving us $1,000 under invoice in our local group buy.
To play devil's advocate: I used to work for a business that did a lot of selling online, both through our website. as well as eBay and Amazon. Occasionally, we would run out of a product, or it would be on order. Sometimes instead of ending the listings in the meantime, they would simply jack the price up to an astronomical sum, to deter buyers. Once we had them back in stock, price would go back. We weren't attempting to receive that price, it was quicker than ending a listing, to only have to rebuild it from scratch in a few days or weeks.
Not saying thats what they did, but thats the first thing I thought of.
Besides, anything over $200k for a Bronco Sport is just too much money ?
