Hey buddy, thanks for the reply.

So just an update for those Bronco owners who are not living in the US or Canada.

I spoke with the Techs at Ford Performance regarding the Procal 4. Unfortunately it is not supported for Export cars as it is VIN locked. So each VIN has a tune setup for it. apparently export cars don't have a tune on their system :(

Guess I'm just gonna have to wait till SCT comes out with their tuning module.
Thats crazy! I know of someone who has used Procal in Europe...I wonder if they did this by tricking the computer somehow into thinking it was a USA based VIN...I will see if I can find out for you.

Yes pls, this would be very helpful. We have a very strong UAE owners club here, with around 200 members.

I know this is an old thread but just got my 2024 Braptor with the 3.0 and want to run
JB4 Tuner and Ford Tune together and wanted to know if anyone has anything bad to say?

I know from watching the app I was still getting the extra boost out of the jb4. But I can understand people not wanting to try it with no safe data on it yet.

Should be able to have it tested. I’ll be rolling in with the procal and jb4 plus the mods. Then trying to get 3 custom tunes for it and that should be complete. Want a crawling torque tune, daily, then a grenade.

I’ve absolutely have been loving how much low end torque I have right now. Zero struggles on climbing stuff. Super controllable. Makes me feel bad to see others struggling trying to work that throttle to climb and descend. But that jms pedal max terrain really helped out with that too. Makes you look pro with no experience. Give it to someone who has experience. Complete game changer once you start going negative on that tip in.
I can’t believe I have not heard of the Pedal Max. Been running the Pedal Commander on this and several other vehicle for years. Off road crawling I just disable it, and feather; it would be nice to have a bit more control, especially with all the power from engine mods. I’m ordering one today although last week I said I was “done” adding to the Bronco.

Much appreciated. I’ll stick with the JB4 until we see tuning options from 5 Star and others.
@MWILD did you have Burger or a shop tweak your tune after showing drag run data to them post-mods? I’m about to next week.

That's exactly how JB4 works. It gives the PCM a lower than actual boost value. Best to install a dedicated boost gauge to see what is really happening. My meth controller displays boost based on its own standalone sensor, and it varies from the JB4 app as well. Sometimes 3 psi higher (which could be due to lag in the app and Bluetooth connection). Even w/out the app running i can see the difference between the factory boost gauge and the meth gauge, and know the JB4 is doing its thing
I second this - the thing with the JB4 is raise the boost safety level in the settings area, and I read its boost screen (or my HUD) not the dash readout. I’m putting to put a dedicated boost line and peak dial in to keep an eye on it.

I did have Terry look over my logs when was having issues. I ended up ditching the JB4 because of constant misfire issues and then going into limp mode. Terry was helpful, but we couldn’t figure it out in the end.

Issues were similar to this guys:
