Just added bartact dozer yellow grab handles

Factory handles are okay when you're wheeling off camber and need some support to keep you from falling out of the seat. But they're not really helping to get in the Sasquatched Bronco I have. I'm 6'3" so I can kind of just slide in, but this isn't so easy for anyone who's vertically challenged. I keep reaching for the roll bar when I'm driving hoping to grab something so I think I'll get a set of these or similar sometime soon. I had the doors and roof off last week and grabbed the roll hoop and found it to be quite good for this purpose but it all goes away once the roof is on. The better fix is a set of steps to get in and out but again there's not a great amount of grab points for stability so I'm sure that's why the OP did his up like this.

Correct. The boards helped, but these just provide more grab points.

Agree. My comment was made waaay prematurely. I'm your height too. Careful grabbing anything that has your hands outside the vehicle. I've heard stories of people doing that when tipping or rolling out of habit - not good results.

Dumb question - how do those "clip in" / attach to the horizontal rails? I looked at doing it, but didn't want to adversely do anything to the side airbags that are up there.

You bolt them in using the existing bolts located in the sides of the rails. Very simple install really. Here are some closer up pics for you.
