Agree with everyone who leaves it in their pocket, why take it out? That's the beauty of keyless. I can't wrap my brain around this.

And if you need to put it anywhere, center console is right there.

The push button start is absolutely the best, and I'm surprised keys still exist.

Nice! But what would REALLY make sense would be if Ford made a slot for the key in place of the idiotic start button. And then you rotated the key to start the car! That way, you wouldn’t have to find a separate place to put the key. It seems so logical that it’s hard to believe that no one ever thought of that! Whoever thought of a start button should be sent to Siberia with only a Speedo IMHO. I think the push button start is one of the dumbest ideas ever to make its way into a vehicle.

I just leave the key in my pocket the whole time. Step 1) take it off the key rack at home. Step 2) place in pocket until I get home. I use the same pocket that would hold the key when I park the Bronco.

Plus, if there was an ignition switch, I guaran-darn-tee there would be hysterical complaining about how the keys scratch the plastic dash or how noisy the jangling keys are when off-roading, or 10 other things I haven't even thought of.

Having a keyless front door at home, I was excited about being able to keep my key in my pocket in the car as well. In actuality my pockets are overloaded with work phone, personal phone, AirPods, work keys, 2 pocket knives, and a pen light and is uncomfortable on long drives.

You need to simplify your life. It'll solve a lot more problems than where to put your key.

Mercedes use to have that. The wifes last one just had the start button though. I liked the keyfob as a key deal though.

The trick is to keep it in the same place on a regular basis, so you know where to look for it. Especially important at my age. I need a number of keys, so it's on a key ring which I clip to a belt hook. Always there, the truck unlocks as I approach the driver's door.

"Man purse?"...Hmmm.... I need a supply of camo scrunchies to secure my man-bun to match my man-purse."
