Latest FordPass App Update

I just updated to 5.8.0 on iPhone 14. It said the trailer check feature was in this update. No trailer light check shows in the app.

I have factory tow but I have updates turned off in my Bronco (not broken don’t fix kind of thing) so maybe that’s the issue? The Bronco doesn’t have an update to the code it uses to report to the newly updated app because the truck isn’t at a minimum software version required for it to work?

I was thinking the same thing as I had a lot of the Big Brother Crap disabled. I went in this afternoon and enabled all but the Insurance reporting option. So maybe something will come out of that.

Same - don’t see unlock or ford pass as widget.

I have FordPass v5.8.2.

I have 5.8.0 , currently no option for .2

Went with the factory tow for the cool integration, but mine also does not have the light check, neither in the car nor in the app.

When they gonna add a “TURN OFF VEHICLE” button?

I have 2 vehicles configured in my app and the other day I accidentally remote started the wrong one. That’s when I learned you can remote start - but not remote stop.

Also - this could be helpful if somebody carjacks or otherwise steals your car.

I have updated my iPhone, looked for the update on the Ford App and I can't get the new version. Lost the .25" window roll down on the September software update, lost the rolling rocks that turn into a Bronco on the screen when I open the door and now can't get the latest update on the Ford App. I heard some great software engineers are not happy at AWS, maybe Ford can get a few of them and fix some of these Software issues.

I have and iphone 14 pro. i had ford pass 5.8.0 no trailer lights op. I went to the app store/my account and found and update to ford pass 5.8.2 updated, and it shows that i did in the Ford pass app. I still do not have the trailer light test option.

weird, that some do and some dont.

Same, have iPhone 14 Pro (iOS 18.1.1), updated the FordPass app in App Store. It shows as v5.8.2 in the app... yet no Trailer Light Check on main Vehicle screen in the app. Tried logging out and back in. Rebooted iPhone. Gotta be some common denominator...

For sh1ts & giggles I even deleted the app, downloaded anew from App Store... still no TLC.

I had the Factory hitch installed about 3 weeks ago. I got excited when the latest version of the Ford Pass app came but I didn't get the trailer light check when the hitch was installed and it doesn't show in the updated app. One of the reasons I went with the factory hitch is for this specific feature. Pretty pissed off about it.

Same. I had the oem factory hitch installed a month after sale. I don't see the trailer light check in my app. '24 Black Diamond. V5.8.0 Android
