You can remote stop. Once it’s started slide the slider the opposite direction

Read this and thought, “there’s just NO WAY it‘s that simple”. Just tested it. Turns out…yeah…it really IS THAT SIMPLE!! (DOH!)

Guess I should have put my glasses on that day I tried stop the wife’s car and couldn’t. Never even noticed the change of wording on the slider.

To be fair, it’s not really that apparent. You would think they would make it easier to see

After a few days of monkeying with FordPass my conclusion is that it is a worthless app... unlock doors? Remote start? Check fuel level? Check odometer? Check tire pressure? All can be done at the truck.
The one actual benefit would be the trailer light check, but that isn't even available in v5.8.3 and iOS 18.1.1...

Your post gave me a great chuckle, but it also made me check my app and update it again, this time to v5.9. While I had no hope for the TLC feature to magically be there, I was glad to read the developer’s notes stating that self-service maintenance records uploads feature was back! Sadly, that is absolutely NOT the case! At least on my end that is. Really have no idea what all these back to back updates over the last few weeks are all about, cause they certainly are not showing up any of the advertised features…

After Ford pulled the maintenance records from the app, I switched to the Car Fox app.
It works way better and I can keep track of all of my vehicles.

how? All I see is the ford logo in my iOS widget...

Are you on iOS18? If you are press and hold and you should get the option to change the tile size

Switch back and forth between the two options you have there then open the app. Mine didn’t show up the first time and fixed that for me

If that didn’t work, press and hold on it again then go to edit Home Screen. Go up to the top left of your screen where it says edit then click add widget. Find or search for FordPass and click it then you should be able to add it

Looks I’m doomed to not have that. Restarted phone and tried everything again. Not deleting/installing ford app (5.9) as I don’t want all the shortcuts to lose voice control to the Bronco. A reinstall usually fixes stuff like that, but not taking the chance. Bummer ios18.2.
