I wish! but alas, International has been through hell the last decade (they kinda dug their own grave with some powertrain decisions) but it seems like they may be able to climb back to their former glory with some recent restructuring and a focus on building good engines again (at least ones that can meet emissions). I'm rooting for them but I doubt they would jump into this market. Their best bet would be to go for the 1 ton+ truck market at the current price point, capability, and luxury there's a lot of money on the table there and they might have more cred. Then again, they kinda tried this with the MXT which ultimately failed (sweet truck though)

It seems like wishful thinking on the part of an enthusiast. I doubt they have the will to jump into that kind of competition when it's not even proven that two such vehicles can be supported.

I stand corrected.... the new Silverado HD i spotted the other day is no longer the ugliest truck I’ve ever seen. it’s now 2nd ugliest.

Wait! after some further examination, I take that back. it’s still the ugliest.

I don't know if I should like that comment or not, because that may actually be the ugliest truck I've ever seen. They are giving it the catfish camaro treatment, and then a tiny little bowtie.

It would be so cool to see International jump back in the SUV scene.
I had no idea they made that MXT truck thing. Seems like a cool idea but they sure could use their old design team on the looks department.
Still better looking then Chevy’s Baleen whale

Or they could make a navistar international powered diesel pick up!!! Oh wait, I think we’ve seen that train wreck already.
That stings man. My 2006 is up on jackstands right now, and I'm about to have to tear into the engine....again....

It gets uglier the longer you look at it

It would be really cool if Rivian sold or licensed their skateboard platform and control systems to allow custom coach work or garage built mashups like Dodge Power Wagon to be more than fiction.
