Could we please not make NB a thing? NB is a 2nd gen Miata. We're already misusing SAS.
Over at Classicbroncos.com that's what we call the new Bronco, early Broncos are call EB so it kind just works.

I wonder what happens if someone already has an order in that ends up being pushed to MY22 and they chose a color that won't be offered next year.

It did have an odd (more green) hue to it when I saw it in person on the vehicle vs. the cans.
Honestly I liked it a lot more on the vehicle.
How do you feel about A51 or maybe Race Red for yours?
If you have a Bahama Blue EB, If I were you I'd be mighty tempted to either get Velocity (my color for mine) to semi-match it with an updated look, or go totally contrasting it with another bright color such as C orange or Race Red.
I guess in the end it is up to what you really feel deep down is right for your situation.
You can get a '21 (I am assuming based on early stamp) in the colors you see, or hold off for a '22, hoping something in the new palette will be "the one" you really want.
I am happy enough with my choice to continue (hoping now) I get the '21.
If by some chance the bottom drops out of commodities or something odd happens (I am also early res) and I get a '22, I'll be happy with (what I assume will be) an awesome green.
But I want/need it this summer/fall, so I am still hoping for the '21.
Driving a vehicle you can't stand (or have to tolerate) the color on sucks. I've been there.
TBH none of the colors really moved the needle for me, that's why I told my dealer I wanted to push my order to MY22. In hopes that maybe Boxwood green showed up or they did a lighter gray color. But if they don't I'll probably stay with CG.

Yes. It is just the Bronco

You have ordered a bronco.
That is the only one ford is making. You would be 40 years late to order an early Bronco.

Cactus really is a chameleon. Everyone has different rods and cones and some people can’t pick up the green but it’s there. It also reflects what’s around it. In a green grass field with a bright blue sky? More minty. In a parking lot with an overcast sky? Flat grey.

I worked for a company who painted mirror shells, door handles, engine covers, etc for OEM's. This may play into why you can't pick any color you want. OEM's have subcomponents (assembled mirrors with painted caps, assembled door handles/housings, front/rear fascias, spoilers, communications antennas, etc) that arrive at the assembly plant from their T1 suppliers. The parts are staged then assembled to the vehicle. The assembly plant doesn't paint these items with the rest of the vehicle.

Why not just 6G? When the 7G comes out will it be the NNB?

I’m between white and cactus and not in love with either. Hoping they shuffle the color deck in 22 since that’s what year mine is.

If I remember correctly, Mike Levine said “colors” plural when he talked about MY22. Cyber Orange is always picked as the top choice to go, but we can’t forget about Lightning Blue. There’s also the chance that they add more colors without losing more than one color from the current list.

I guess the same reason we call 78-96 Broncos BB or Big Body. 6G doesn't tell me a thing, also I think it should be 5G, do they really need to include the Bronco II it was more of a step child than anything else.

Cactus Gray is tan and gray I don’t see any green.

Area 51 is a great color.

Blue Jean would be a awesome blue from Ford. Best F150 color

I feel like I write this a ton but as always colors can change prior to launch - see the quick addition of velocity blue and lightning blue for 2021

Y’all are getting a good number of new colors next year. Some colors (yes, plural), are being discontinued, which is expected because it happens for almost every vehicle every model year to keep it fresh.

People will be mostly happy, but of course some will complain about the shade choice and there’s really no way to please everyone

Edit: and of course like this model year, some colors will be on certain trims, or trim-locked to just one
