We know what Crutchfield sales and what they show fit. We know some that made what Crutchfield said wouldn’t fit fit. Let’s start a list of what owners have had success fitting and if modifications would be needed. Hold replies to what speakers you used where and if they were a direct fit, any mod needed, or any adapters.

Confirmed fitment:
Kenwood KFC-1696PS (6.5" kick panel speakers) required use of Metra 8256-05 mounting adaptors

Crutchfield Sound Ordnance P-40B (4" 2-way) Direct fit into dash and rear pods, but require breaking off opposite corner tabs (comes with 4, will only fit with 2, they're designed to snap off)

Confirmed will NOT fit:
Crutchfield Sound Ordnance P-65B (due to protruding tweeter)

I saw someone’s post about adding an under seat powered sub. Any chance we could add these to the list? I don’t need some mega bass bumping machine but with top down and volume up I definitely miss out on any sort of bass in my old wranglers.

Is it safe to say any speaker with the protruding tweeter is a no fit?

I would say that if you're using the metra 8256-05 adaptors, that's a pretty good bet. According to crutchfield the P-65B:

Mounting Height (Inches)0.614

Can't say for a fact that anything lower than that would fit cleanly, but the Kenwoods I went with were "flush mount"

The Metra adapter is .814" tall. To accommodate a speaker where the tweeter sticks out, you need a custom adapter. Otherwise, the kick panel replacement options are fairly limited.

I’m considering almost the exact same setup. I’ve never had audiofrog speakers. Are they worth the money in your opinion?
I do like them, very crisp and loud. They rattle those plastic speaker grilles though, so use plenty of deadening or baffling. I ended up just taking the grille off temporarily until I can get more in.

Infinity reference speakers all around. They fit. You need adapters or you can just splice the wires for any speakers.

My tip after being through this is to focus more on adding an amp than the speakers. Just replacing the speakers gave minimal gains. Any aftermarket speakers will need an amp to unlock their full potential.

Plan for a audio control level converter to unlock the high pass filter on the rear channel. Thanks for verifying the Infinity fitment.

Current set up;

AudioFrog GS42 4"

AudioFrog G60S 6-1/2"

JL Audio XD600 6-channel Amp

AudioControl LC7i

JL Audio CP110-W0v3 10" Sub

Dash and pod connectors provided by @flip

Everything fit. I currently only have tweeters in the dash where the 4" speakers used to be using a custom mount.
You have good taste in car audio components! How are those Frogs treating you? I’m thinking about utilizing the same speakers but running an AudioControl DSP’d amps

It’s difficult for me to understand why guys try to “upgrade” their audio in a $55k vehicle with $40 speakers and no amplification (might as well stick with the stock system).

No complaints, they sound great. Very loud.

Yeah, did a bunch of research and rather spend a few more pennies for better quality.
