Hey, the HNT tics all the boxes for me and addressed any concerns of the ACC, Intercooler, an aux lighting...

Any thoughts on a HNT rear bumper with a tire carrier?

Anyway, Lets Get-Rrr Done.... Ready to order!!!🤩🤣

Thanks👍👍
Yes we will be doing an HNT rear bumper as well, but it won't have a tire carrier at first, as it's primary design focus will be to remain High-N-Tight. But we're considering also doing a heavier duty rear bumper with an integrated spare tire carrier (either bumper-mounted or frame-mounted and sticks up through the bumper). I'm thinking something that would carry the weight of the tire and other gear, but open and close with the tailgate, single-handed. But that will be further out. I'm a very small shop still, I don't have a team of designers yet :)

We don't have the instructions done yet but when we do, they will be available to download and look at prior to purchase, if those details are important to you. I can tell you that our solutions for both relocating the ACC and installing our winch skid with the 2.7 are similar to that of other mfg's since everyone faces the same packaging constraints on these Broncos.
Instructions prior to purchase are critical to anyone purchasing your product, especially if they want to install themselves.

HNT for the rear is great, I’d definitely buy one. I would like to see room for some reverse lights if possible.

"Anyone"? LOL you'd be surprised how many people never look at the instructions, even when they go to start the installation, let alone prior to purchase. Lobo may be new, but I've been in this business a long time. We WISH people would look at the instructions more LOL. But again, of course they will be made available.

Maybe I should preface that with “smart people”. You know, the ones who don’t call you to ask you about something in the instructions.

We are designing it around the Warn ZEON 10S winch, which is a BIG winch, with an envelope that most other winches on the market will fit inside. But we have not test-fit it specifically with any other brand of winch. And to be honest, the number one design consideration of this product has been to keep it as "High-N-Tight" as possible. We did briefly consider designing it around the Warn EVO series winch instead, for that reason. But in the end we felt it was worth it to make the slight adjustments necessary to accomodate the ZEON.

I will say that we contacted Superwinch to see if we could get their CAD files to make sure we can accomodate their winch too. They ignored us LOL. That said, if someone with a Superwinch is close to Hemet, CA, bring it by and we'll take a scan of it.
Thank you for the update!! If I could request anything, it would be posting the the dimensions of where the winch would reside, and also possibly making a longer slot to accommodate bolting on the winch to possibly slide it slightly one way or the other. I seem to remember finding a document that had the Superwinch dimensions found at link below

Hey guys I've made a lot of design progress on our WNC series front bumper, and it's coming out even nicer than I thought. The WNC bumper is our version of a front bumper with incorporated winch mount, but trying to adhere as much as possible to our "High-N-Tight" design philosophy. So it's not *quite* as tucked in as our HNT bumper, it's dang close:

Ford Bronco Lobo Off-Road Product Development Thread F6-11-3001-00-I004-

For this one we targeted using the Warn EVO-series winches (8S, 10S, 12S) which all use the same housing so any of them will fit. We couldn't fit a ZEON in there, but the EVO is a good workhorse of a winch. Many other winch brands including lower cost imports should fit in the same footprint.

As you can see, the winch fits entirely within the envelope of the bumper shell, and it only sticks forward an additional 1-7/8" compared to the HNT bumper. Here's a view looking down from the top (ignore the missing recovery tab in the drawing LOL):

Ford Bronco Lobo Off-Road Product Development Thread F6-11-3001-00-I003-w

The WNC gives up a little bit of approach angle right at the center, as you can see from the side view below. But we've narrowed the center section slightly so the outriggers still tuck up very nicely.

Ford Bronco Lobo Off-Road Product Development Thread F6-11-3001-00-I001-sq

Like the HNT bumper, the WNC uses a separate bumper shell, while the recovery points and winch cradle are incorporated into a heavier duty sub-structure. This bumper also gets laser cut grille inserts in the center and outrigger cutouts. This bumper will include parking sensor mounts, but will require ACC relocation. It is compatible with our non-winch skid plate.

For more info about this one, and if you'd like to get on our interest list for it, please check out our website page for it. The waiting list is non-binding, but it will give you dibs on the first units produced, according to your place on that list. You may of course opt out when it comes time to order, if the price, availability date or any other details aren't quite right for you.

If anyone has any questions about this one, fire away. And thanks for taking a look :)

As I mentioned last week, our first 3 products are now in production, and we've finalized retail pricing on them:
The prices landed about where we thought they would, perhaps slightly higher than we hoped (what isn't, these days). We knew we wouldn't be the cheapest, nor the most expensive, but we believe that our U.S. production and the features we've built into these products keeps them competitive. But to sweeten the pot a bit we'll be offering a 15% introductory discount exclusively for those who are on our waiting lists for these items, in addition to dibs on the first production run according to your spot in line.

I also have a fairly good estimated completion date. We're batching them all together for our first run, so we should have the first run of all three products completed by August 28th. But then I send them to powder coat, which I don't do in-house, so my best estimate on getting them back from coating, having them packaged up and ready to ship out would be September 9th. If anyone wants theirs un-coated, it could ship around the 28th or so.

As we've said, we won't take anyone's money until we're ready to ship product. But if you're on the waiting list for either of these 3 items, we'll be contacting you individually to see if you'd like to use your place in line. We're sending our final prototype to powder coat early so we can get finished product photos and mounted photos for you to see before you make up your mind.

But if you are on the wait list for either of these and the pricing or dates aren't right for you, that's totally cool but please let me know by sending an email to pitcrew@lobooffroad.com , and I'll take you off that list.

Thanks everyone!

Ugh, just looked at your website and saw the winch bumper, now I’m torn between the HNT Bumper and the Winch Bumper, both look legit. Haha.

How much does the winch plate change approach angle, if at all?

Both looking fantastic. Will the HNT bumper accommodate any pre runner or bull bar?

Haha, this is a problem im ok hearing about. I genuinely appreciate everyone's positive feedback, of our items so far. Alot has gone into them and is going to continue as we build out a entire lineup of products for the bronco and many others.

Within our line up so far, we have created a couple options for clearances. Our winch skid and HNT non winch bumper is slightly more clearance than the stock steel skid plate and has more clearance than stock on the corners of the bumper, however is pretty much stock where the factory D rings are located. ( not going to CLAIM to have more clearance than stock, depends on how people want to look at it.)
The second set up would be the HNT winch bumper with the HNT aluminum skid. This will gain over a 1.5" of skid plate clearance, but move the front face of the bumper a little under 2" forward.
The HNT non winch skid and skid plate would be the ideal package for a person looking to maximize clearances.
I know it did not answer your question directly, but hope it gives you a idea.

Exactly what we all are looking for!... Our selections choices are two types, a dbl swing gate (nope) and a single like you described but the tire mount bracket is too big. Great if you carry your gear on the truck always but not for random weekend off roaders, IMO....
