And I was told by 3 sales people and the manager that ford will not be opening the order banks for customer bronco orders on March 27th. What they told me is there will be a small window open in March 27th where ford dealers will snag allocations from a list of what ford says they can build.

they first told me they had heard nothing about anything in March and I had to ask about 5 times if they would check. It was odd to say the least.

Anyone hear of the March date changing and folks will not be able to place orders or are the people at that dealership all in crack??

I’m going with the crack theory myself.

"My dealer said..." 🥃 🍺

In reality, I could see the order banks opening up but only being open for a week or so due to overwhelming demand. Similar to what happened to the Maverick last fall

They may be referring to their plan to finish all their existing customer orders before taking new ones. Try another dealer for comparison.

If the dealer has units in stock they are likely going to tell you the order banks won't be opening. If they do not have anything in stock they will likely tell you to place your order asap.

What will actually happen? Who knows.

Order banks opening on March 27th was never set in stone to begin with.

I can hope for the best I guess. My side of the country is still swimming in $10k ADM so if the banks don't open I may be forced to travel to find a 2dr.
