Hi guys. On my original 2024 2.7, the car was delivered with the coolant on the min line. Did a search and most said they're might have been air bubbles from factory, so I just filled it up to max. I didn't have the car long enough to see it go down again.

We traded that car for a 2025 2.3 which also had the coolant on min on delivery. I filled it to max again thinking it was the same air bubble from factory. Fast forward 6 months and 7000 kms later, the coolant reservoir is down to min again. There's no noticeable leaks or blue smoke that I can tell. Anyone else experiencing this? Thnx

Top it up, keep an eye on it....it can take a while to completely purge all the air out.

My base ‘25 did this for about the first 5-6k miles. I’m on about 13k miles now and coolant has been steady. For some reason they aren’t purging the air out well from factory and it takes a while for it to settle. I brought mine in twice within the 6 months of ownership thinking there was a leak and both times the truck passed the pressure test and eventually the coolant level stabilized.

Maybe for peace of mind you can bring it in to the dealership and have them pressure test the coolant system.

Same here.
2025 2.3, 9,500 miles.

Added coolant twice to be midway between min and max and the level went back to just below minimum. Slowly, however — longer than two weeks to drop back down.

No smoke, no odors of coolant, no visible leaks or residue. The oil shows nothing odd.
I do not drive it hard.

My ‘23 2.7L did the same thing. After the second top off, it was fine.

I had to top off my 2.3L twice before it maintained fill level in the coolant tank.

I had a similar issue and I finally discovered a pinhole leak in the radiator. I took pictures and took it to the dealership. They replaced the radiator, and the slow loss of coolant seems to have stopped. The leak was directly behind the passenger side cooling fan. I never had any drips on the ground, just a slow loss of coolant over several thousand miles.

I always could smell coolant up front on the passenger side which is why I started looking there.
