Mabett 6.5 Speaker Pods - vibration issue?

I upgraded to the mabett 6.5 speaker pods. Install wasn't terrible, but I'm having some serious issues with sound quality.

I'm using Kicker KS speakers and am getting some NASTY vibration during certain frequencies. ONLY certain frequencies. Most of the time they sound OK. But when it hits that frequency...yikes.

Anyone have similar issues? I put boom mat all around the speaker pod to try and counter it but no luck.

This is all without the covers on as well. I find that vibrations are even worse with the covers on.

Have you tried putting any rubber/vibration deadening material between the pods and the mounting points?

Sorry for the bold I couldn't figure out how to turn it off

Mine are great but I lined it with sound deadening material and filled with polyfill. Sounds like an easy fix for you.

Yeah. I basically cut boom mat and and lines the rim around the speaker and pod. Still no luck!

I think they suck as a concept. At least for me the system sounds great without them...
