Mabett Tail lights not working on install…

Hey Crew- just installed the Mabett tail light replacements and I’ve got functionality for the animation on start up and reverse/zone lighting white interior LED- BUT- the turn signals and brake light functions aren’t there.

Thoughts?

Why not go with one of the established brands? How much price difference?

I have his seat back covers, but not going far past that.

Were you replacing halogen lights or the LED lights with the Mabett ones?

Did you have a long red wire that ran between the lights or did you have small harnesses for each light?

The top image is set up for the LED lights. The second image is set up for the halogen lights.

For a tail light replacement, like the flat ones? Think you should do a search here on the forum. Try going to that section; lighting and see a few that guys recommend, then decide on those anticdotes to then find a few YouTube reviews. Bubba with Exodus 4x4 installed some and I’m sure those are good quality. (Hope his were different from yours!). Ha ha!

But seriously, lights and the wiring and housings can be sensitive, so the better options will be more dependable.

I was replacing the OE LED lights (red) with @Mabett smoke color

Nice! I hope so… that would be helpful. I left the trim pieces apart in hopes of a simple fix (ie dumb user error). Maybe @Mabett can straighten me out…

The top image is set up for the LED lights. The second image is set up for the halogen lights.

And yes, my lights have a variety of extra wiring that appears useful for the halogen conversion but there weren’t any instructions regarding removing anything from the harness in anyway. Maybe that’s what needs to happen? Not sure.

Oh- hey! I watched your video for my install. Thanks for putting that together.
I’m going back to the garage in a about 30 mins so I’ll pull them out and take pics.
