Would of been cool to see them do a car-truck like a Ranchero. Maybe even use the Mustang platform. Imagine a Mustang car-truck with the 5.0, oh man that would be sweet.
I can't figure out why the did not call the Maverick the Ranchero, much better node to Ford history. 🤷‍♂️

Ranchero = truck, Maverick could have had 4 doors. Maverick and Mustang shared some parts. Maybe the new Maverick will do the same? Doubtful UNLESS it goes electric...

The Maverick seems like the biggest waste of a truck ever. Why would you want smaller then the already small Ranger?
People are jumping away from cars but in reality they just drive to work, or the bar, and don't need anything but a 2 seater hybrid. A small fuel efficient truck is a great idea, it's a "truck" but has the practically for the general population.
I personally kinda hate it because I hate what directions trucks have moved to. On the other hand, a "truck" for the general population means the real trucks don't have to cater to the BS so much. So hopefully future iterations of the F series focus on towing/payload/offroad capabilities instead of a pissing match for having the biggest back seat and the most parking sensors and ass warmers.

At 210"+, the Ranger is bigger than the F150 used to be. A mini truck it ain't.
Don't start this shit again. You are wrong.

Full-size trucks have gotten ridiculously huge. The current Ranger is almost as big as an F-150 from the 80s-90s. If they'd offering the 2.7L in it I'd be driving one. The Maverick has a lot of potential for city dwellers, younger people and commerical applications.
Young people suck. Who cares about young people.
