I finished the lock box over the weekend. I also added some mollie bags in the back. Front and rear mud flaps are here, gonna wait for the weather to heat up a bit before installing them…

Best laid plans… box said SAS… mud flap do not fit… going to rethink using cheap ones and removing. I want to run flaps though…

I put seat backs on and have a bunch of parts coming over the next two weeks. I have a plan on what I want to do for the splash guards. We will see if it works out. Tow package is on its way as well. I’m going with the 4 pin harness at this point. Still gathering winch parts. Just need the winch mount to get back in stock…

There are those here that will defend Ford and the Bronco come hell or high water and get cranky with anyone calling Ford or the Bronco out as being subpar at times. I think overall the Bronco is a really cool vehicle that Ford just went seriously cheap on in a few places. It is sad they did that but it is what it is I suppose. There is absolutely no reason yours should leak so take it in and have the dealer look at it. There is no shortage of posts on this forum talking about the MIC top and issues with it. Unfortunately buying a Bronco seems it a crap-shoot. Some get lucky some don't, I honestly think the ratio leans to more having good experiences than bad.

I am one of the unlucky ones, Ford bought back my 2023 Bronco because they could not get it running. I promptly ordered an exact replacement in a 2024 even before they finalized the buyback. I could be back at square one with this replacement or I could be one of the many here that talk about owning a flawless reliable example of a Bronco.

I loved driving my '23, it was a 4 dr SAS Big Bend with the 2.3 auto. I was getting 20.1 mpg average on the 2 tanks of gas I got to put in it before Ford took it back, I am never in a rush to get anywhere so I drive it easy I guess. :) I am currently tracking my '24 that is on a train heading my way as I type this.

Enjoy yours, it is a beautiful looking truck and I bet you get years of enjoyment out of it!! (tons of compliments on it too I bet!)
Even some of us old Ford guys (my first car was a 1975 Ford LTD and only 2 non-Fords in the decades since) will admit that even the best can screw up. Having said that, Mean Green, Tock is right...Ford needs to fix that for you. You have an amazing rig and deserve it to be right. Tock, I hope your '24 turns out as amazing as mine has in the short time I've had it.

To the OP, in case you have not yet located it, you can disable the (beyond annoying) collision detection via "Features" on the center screen then Driver Assistance, Pre-Collision Assist.

Yes, I did eventually find it. The issue has happened twice on the highway in which I had the cruse control on in a snow storm and the sensors have frozen over. The truck thinks you are getting in a high speed accident and “panic stops“ the truck. It takes a few seconds to realize what is going on and to knock the cruse control off. You loose about 15 to 20 MPH quick…

Couple more items showed up today. It was still light out, so I did a quick install. You know you are old when all your packs are Alice and not Molle. I’ll be looking for a Molle entrenching tool pack I guess.

Switch and fuse box stickers… they threw in a dash graphic. Not sure I’ll use that one, but we will see.
