Had my original top replaced. No issues with it other than I scratched it pretty badly when removing the middle section. I figured why not replace it, it’s a recall and costs me nothing.

here are some pics of how the new top was shipped and What the top looks like inside after they cut corners for the warranty claim.

Very cool. Wish Ford would work with some of their vendors to use the tops for destructive testing on roof racks and capacity limits. Seems like they're all pulling capacity numbers out of their asses - which I'm mostly ok with as there's little alternative.
