MIC to Garage = 8"....can I fit a RTT?

Finally got around a measuring how much clearance I have from the top of the roof to my garage door opening.

I have about 8 or 9 in. Currently I have the factory roof rack, but would be willing to swap it out with another rack if need be.

I would really love to get a rooftop tent setup.

Anyone know of a combination or a setup that would be thin enough?

I think the Gofast setups are fairly compact as well.

The GoFastCampers Superlite is 6", but that includes the rails on the bottom, which I doubt that 4" one includes. GFC's hard shell RTT is also 6", but at 135lbs, it maxes out the oem dynamic weight limit.

Yeah it's still on the top of my list. Unfortunately with my current roof rack (oem) the 4" would be just a bit to high.

How far is the top of the tent to the top of the MIC?

I actually pulled it off last week but, sitting here in the garage its about 11.5 inches up from the rear mounting slot of the roof rack.

I stuff my sleeping bags and ladder inside the RTT and its pretty thick at the point I measure below but to give you an idea.

Also it looks like they are having a pretty good sale, this popped up on my socials today. I thought I got a deal at 1299 on black friday.

Dang it! Yeah that's a great deal right now. I have no way of actually mounting it though because I don't know if it would actually fit on the OEM rack
