All fair debatable points made about winter blend fuels and a square with oversized tires (I’m running on 32’s at the moment). But the point I’m trying to make, and my apologies for not being clear in OP, is that when I filled up when I first bought it, before leaving the pump, it read 320 miles to E, lately when I fill up, before I leave the pump, it reads 285 miles to E.

You get more on the highway? My mileage drops like crazy on a long highway road trip. I’m lucky to get 200. That probably has a lot to do with me going way over the speed limit and 37’s though 😂
I bet!

Yeah, I’m on the 35s and try not to go above 75, but usually down around 70mph in the right lane. When on a highway trip, mileage with no AC can climb and range can top 300mi. Short wheelbases are squirmy as all hell, but I love it on the trail. Can’t have it all I guess. :)

We’re just funnin a bit.

Yeah, when mine was new, it read about 320 as well, but I tend to have a lead foot off the line (too many BMWs :)) and the winter blend, thus here we are.

I tend to run 93 only when driving up to go wheeling and 89 any other time, but it doesn’t matter if I use QT or Bucees gas or Shell V Power, the mpg does not change.

Expected this going in, not particularly shocked by it, and have accepted it. What makes it not matter more is when I go hit some trails, as that always puts a big grin on my face, dissolves any stress, and helps me to not care. Trail days are more fun than my old track days by a wide margin and much cheaper on the wallet overall.

Could it be at first you were subconsiously babying it and now your more comfortable with it you're driving more normal.

I’m like a lot of y’all, once I get behind the wheel, I get an ear to ear grin and it’s “game on.” I guess ai is starting to predict my actual mpg before I even get going 😉 Ha!

It's definitely winter gas and the longer warmup times for cold starts. I track every fuel fillup on paper for every vehicle I've had and winter gas makes all of them drop around 2 mpg. The Bronco is still better (with 35's) than my 2013 Tacoma 4 cyl reg cab (33's) and 2010 Silverado 5.3 reg cab (33's) in the winter so I have no complaints.

Yep, winter blend mixed with remote starting on cold mornings means my mileage has dropped from 16-17 down to 13-14. I looked at my range after I filled up the other day and laughed because it was the same as I used to get in my old '91 Bronco.
Cheers to the Old Broncos 💨

I just look when it needs fuel, I tow Toys all the time so the MPG is never constant. Now with cold mornings, and remote start. idk what it is, and honestly I don't care. gas is, exhaust out, lets go!

Need to load ProCal and make that high octane work for you.. Now, winter fuel maybe is a problem.. My 23mpg Big Bend is sucking fuel.. Oh, wait -8 ( got to warm up) and that heavy duty 4x4 you need on icy roads for last two months…. Got to love Alaska..

Have 2Dr BD w 2.3L

At fill-up the mileage range to Empty varies all over the place. Seems to depend a lot on your driving style during the previous tank

I fill up my 2.7 with 93 octane (usually shell v power+). When I bought the Bronco in August I'd get between 410-420 miles of range. The last couple of fill ups its been 385ish.

MPGs also went down from 20.3 to 19.3.
I'm seeing the exact same results in my '23 BB Sas, 2.7 4dr. Picked it up in early May, was averaging just over 400 miles of range and 19.2 mpg up until December. I just took a 1200 miles trip, all interstate, using the cruise and holding to 75 mph. 17.6 mpg. I was thinking maybe some headwinds, but it was the same in both directions and all in Florida so elevation and hills not an issue. I'm not particular to brand of gas but have run nothing but 92-93 premium and Castrol Syntec 5w-30 in the sump. May be turbocharged engines are more sensitive to the fuel formulations for winter?
