I received my @Suma Performance mirrors today and followed their video example of how to remove the factory mirror. Now that mirror is jammed in the UP position and won't move in any direction. Any suggestions on where I may have gone wong?

Here is where I am stuck right now:

I have done this mod twice. The first time this happened and i put the glass in and kind of forced it back to about the right place and then i ran the adjustment motor and it 'caught' up to the right place and i never had a problem since, and i installed in july of 22.
YMMV.....

This happened to me as well. I was definitely a little too aggressive pulling the old glass off. I put the old glass back on and was able to get it back into position without damaging anything.

Did you press down on the original mirror very hard and the mechanism popped back into place? I can do that but am nervous about it.

I mostly pushed on the low center of the mirror since I was afraid of breaking the glass (and stupidly didn't wear gloves). After some jiggling and a little more pressure than I was comfortable with, it finally moved back into place.

Happened to me and I thought I broke it. I worked the motor in other directions than down first and then kind of manually gave it some help too and it started moving again.

OK, this is weird. Yesterday I pushed and pressed the mirror mount as much as I could in every direction. Thinking I was missing something, I had another guy try his hand at moving the mirror mount. He also had no success.

That's it, forget it for tonight and give it another whirl tomorrow.

I sweated it all morning but finally went out to give it another try.

The mirror mount moved easily and freely needing just a little bit of pressure.

Sooo... the Bronco healed itself? Is it's name Christine? I'm a little freaked out right now.

The driver/left side mirror popped out and the Suma mirror installed easily with no problems.
