Wireless Android Auto and Wireless CarPlay are AWESOME... until they're not, and they start dropping for zero reason.
It's a Wifi connection inside the vehicle, using ADHOC, and it just completely cuts out in some areas. Maybe it's interference, maybe something else, but it's super frustrating when you're just cruising along and all of a sudden everything is gone from the screen.
I've resorted back to just using a USB cable, better connection quality, it charges my phone faster than the wireless pad, and it's less CPU intensive, so my phone isn't as hot.
Exactly the same on my end. I just went to the cable for the same reasons; better charging, no connection drops, less heat.

Have you noticed the direct correlation between the RON rating of a state's gasoline and how much their beer sucks?

UT has some of the worst beer i've ever had and their gas sucks. Food overall in Moab was pretty terrible, we never found a place we would give over a 4 (out of 10) to.

Lightning Blue does a treat on our Ranger! Really wish it was available on Bronco for us plebs as I would be happy to match that color across multiple vehicles.

Love the Lightning Blue! Looks awesome on your Ranger too!

Just a point of curiosity. I live and work in amarillo. I always see people stopped looking at the half buried Cadillacs.
I honestly cant understand why people visit it. Am i missing something?

and yes. I am truly curious as to its true draw on people.

Yeah, it really isn't much to see, but it is free and you get to paint on it!

The draw for me was that I was through that way with my dad on a cross country trip way back in 2004. He and I stopped just to take a look and we wanted to do so this time with the wife and daughter. My daughter had a blast painting the cars. That's about it.

I really wish the ports on the dash near the windscreen were wired for carplay/android auto.
You'd figure with the accessory ready mounts on the dash, most people would mount their phones their, and to have those ports not work in conjunction with the dash is very shortsighted.

No worries, have fun!

If you forget the paint, you can even buy a can on site for $6! They had a little trailer pulled on the property selling paint and all kinds of stickers.

Let's be honest... it's the most interesting thing in Amarillo.

Just got back to MT from Moab. Averaged about 20 mpg in my 2 door. Had it up to 25.5 on one tank on the way back until we started climbing mountains. Finally had to disable Android Auto since it would try to connect with my brothers phone when he was charging.

Great write up and awesome trip! It is on my list of things to do is to drive from Huntsville, Al to Moab for the Off Rodeo and then stay to run more of the trails.
Would love to have you give more details at our next Rocket City Bronco Club Meet and Greet!

I'm in Huntsville waiting on delivery. I've seen that velocity blue Bronco driving around wondering who was the other Bronco that got the best color!
