Hey all,
Installed the mobridge amp and will be replacing the OEM sub with an Alpine RS-SB10 in the back. If I want to use the wires from the OEM sub (Dual coil, 4 OHM) to my new one (single coil, 2 OHM) should I be joining the 2 positive wires (yellow/green in diagram below) as well as the 2 negative wires (purple/black) then hooking up? Appreciate any guidance here!

The Mobridge sub channels are bridged at the amplifier.

Single Coil Driver, don't need both pairs in this configuration but I use them anyhow for current carrying capacity:

For a driver with dual coils, both channels are connected separately, in a similar fashion as the stock driver, instead of parallel as shown above. The resultant impedance would be 2 ohms at the amp for dual 4 ohm coils, as an example.

Thanks for the speedy response. Fraser from Mobridge happened to call me as well and confirmed this is the right approach. Cheers!

It's been a long time since I messed with subs and they were all DVCs and the amps I used were never bridged at the amp... For the OP's Alpine RS-SB10, it's noted the subwoofer's dual 4Ω voice coils are internally wired to present a 2Ω load at the spring posts.

I just ordered the JL Stealthbox and the Mobridge setup... Just triple confirming it's the same wiring scenario as the OP, as it appears the stealthbox uses a TW1-2 10" 2-ohm subwoofer, which appears to be a single voice coil @ 2-ohm, so I'd wire like the first diagram...

Should these just be soldered together and then use banana plugs to connect the box?

Yes.

The sub channels are already connected internally in the amp (e.g. mono only), just connect the + wires (11 + 13) and the - wires (12+ 14) in the harness for a stealthbox. If you had a DVC you could wire one set to each coil, but electrically it's the same as combining the wires - you're either splitting the current across terminals for DVC or all together for a SVC. This is how I ran my channels for a 3 way active front + rear fill + stealthbox:
